A Time To Be Mindful
Been jingling my bells lately and o’ what fun it is.
I’ve created some delicious and healthy festive treats, including my favourite Festive Log dessert – you have to try them! These healthy treats will be the hit of your celebrations!
Christmas is also a perfect time to give back to those who need some extra love ~ it’s so important. Skyy and I like to discuss ways to be mindful, give our time, love and kindness. We often reach out with time and kindness to the homeless in Sydney. A gift that is priceless and rewarding for all.
Remember kindness is absolutely free and a small gesture can make the world of a difference.
In what ways can you consciously give back?
Give time to an elderly person,
give support to an exhausted child on the last week of school,
give food to a struggling neighbour,
give thanks to your parents,
give back to the environment and nature’s creatures.
All acts of connection and love without any reciprocal expectations.
Mindfulness and self-care are also essential this time of year and at all times of the year!
Take a lil’ break from your holiday prep and breathe.
Treat yourself to a beach walk, yoga class or a iced Turmeric latte… sip sloooowly.
In fact, I would do this before anything else… nurture my soul, so I am brimming with love and gratitude to enable me to lovingly spend time with others.
